This notice explains how Pension Helper uses personal information when you visit the website, submit a pension or retirement question, opt into updates or buy a service.

Advertising measurement and cookies
We use Google Ads measurement to understand whether visits from our advertising result in Pension Helper enquiries. Optional advertising and analytics storage is denied by default and is enabled only if you choose “Accept” in our cookie banner. You can reject optional cookies and can reopen your choice using the “Cookie choices” link in the website footer. Google may receive technical information needed for advertising measurement in line with your consent choice.

Our lawful bases
Depending on the activity, we rely on steps taken at your request before a contract, performance of a contract, legal obligations and legitimate interests in operating and protecting the service. We rely on consent for optional email marketing, and you can withdraw that consent at any time. If special-category information such as health information is genuinely needed, we will explain why and identify an appropriate additional condition before requesting it.
Who information may be shared with
Information may be processed by carefully selected providers used for website hosting, email and enquiry management, secure document handling, payments, accounting, professional services and business administration. Information may also be disclosed where required by law. It is not sold.
Pension Helper is separate from Piccadilly Wealth Management Limited. Information is not passed to Piccadilly or another adviser without an appropriate basis and clear permission where required.
Payments
Card payments are handled by Stripe. Pension Helper does not receive your complete card number. Stripe processes payment information under its own privacy terms.
How long information is kept
Enquiries that do not proceed are kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage follow-up and maintain appropriate records. Paid-engagement records are generally retained for up to six years after the work ends, unless a longer or shorter period is required by law, insurance or the nature of the record.
International processing
Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this occurs, appropriate safeguards should be used in accordance with data-protection law.
Your rights
You may have rights to ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or to object to certain processing. These rights depend on the circumstances. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Security
Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect information. The initial question form deliberately asks you not to include policy numbers, National Insurance numbers, health details or bank information. Secure intake instructions are provided only after the service and scope are confirmed.
Email updates
Submitting a service enquiry does not by itself opt you into general marketing. If you tick the optional marketing box, we may send occasional practical pension guides and Pension Helper updates. Every marketing email will provide a way to unsubscribe.
Changes to this notice
This notice may be updated when the service, technology or legal requirements change. The current version will be published on this page.
