Private, fixed-fee pension and retirement guidance — not personal financial recommendations. Understand the difference.
Transparent fees

Clear pension and retirement help at a fixed price.

Three published fixed-price services cover most questions. Where your situation needs a different scope, we can provide a bespoke fixed quote. There is no percentage charge and no ongoing commitment.

Three fixed-price services, plus bespoke

You submit the question. We propose the right level of help.

The £99, £395 and £795 services give a clear structure for most enquiries. Paul reviews what you send before proposing a level. If the work falls between those levels or needs a tailored scope, you receive a bespoke fixed quote instead.

Bespoke scope

A tailored piece of work when the set services do not quite fit.

Some questions involve an unusual combination of pensions, two people, several scenarios or a specific piece of analysis that sits between the published levels.

Paul will review the enquiry first, explain what Pension Helper can appropriately cover and provide a one-off fixed quote. There is no obligation to proceed.

What is included

Built around the question you actually have.

Every engagement starts with an agreed question and ends with written work designed to make your own situation easier to understand.

Your question and figures

Depending on scope, we use relevant pension values, dates, income sources, spending assumptions and scheme information.

Prepared personally

Paul reviews the agreed question and prepares the work. You are not passed to a sales team or call centre.

Written work you can use

Keep the explanation, comparison or illustration, share it with a partner and use it when speaking to a provider or adviser.

Important boundaries

Ask the real question. We will be clear about what we can — and cannot — answer.

For example, you may ask “Should I consolidate my pensions?” Pension Helper can explain what consolidation involves, compare factual features and identify issues to check. It cannot recommend that you transfer or consolidate.

  • No recommendation to transfer or consolidate pensions
  • No recommendation to buy, sell or select a pension product
  • No provider or investment selection
  • No implementation, applications or transaction handling
  • No legal or tax opinion
  • No defined benefit transfer recommendation

Questions near the advice boundary are reviewed before any fee is accepted.

Will I be charged before you know whether you can help?

No. Submitting the question is free. Paul reviews the whole enquiry before proposing one of the three published services or a bespoke fixed scope. Payment is requested only after you have seen and accepted that proposal.

Can I ask whether I should consolidate my pensions?

Yes. Pension Helper can explain the factual considerations, compare scheme features and identify guarantees, charges and questions to check. It cannot recommend that you transfer or consolidate.

Can you tell me whether I can retire at 60?

Pension Helper can build an illustrative retirement picture using agreed figures and assumptions, so you can see how the question looks and what variables matter. It cannot guarantee an outcome or recommend a pension product, investment or withdrawal strategy.

Are there any ongoing fees?

No. Each price is for the agreed piece of work. There is no subscription or percentage charge.

What happens if the question is more complex than expected?

If the question does not fit a published service, Paul can propose a bespoke fixed scope and price. You decide whether to proceed. Where the matter needs regulated, legal or tax advice, Pension Helper will say so rather than stretching the service.

Start by sending the question, not choosing the service.

Paul will review the enquiry and then propose the £99, £395 or £795 service, or a bespoke fixed quote where needed. You see the scope and price before deciding.
