Accessibility statement
Pension Helper is intended to be usable by people with different visual, motor, hearing and cognitive needs.
What we have designed for
- Clear headings and plain-English content
- Keyboard access to navigation, forms and interactive controls
- Visible focus states
- High text contrast and large tap targets
- Responsive layouts that work with screen magnification
- Labels and error messages on form fields
- No autoplaying audio or essential information conveyed by colour alone
- Reduced animation when a device requests reduced motion
Using the site
You should be able to zoom the site, navigate with a keyboard, use browser text-size controls and print guidance pages. The question form uses one main question at a time and does not impose a time limit.
Known limitations
The external Stripe checkout and any future secure document service are provided by third parties and may have their own accessibility arrangements. The illustrative sample report uses comparison tables and highlighted findings. The same information is also explained in surrounding text.
Tell us about a problem
Contact hello@pensionhelper.com if you cannot access part of the website or need information in another reasonable format. Please describe the page, the difficulty and the format that would help.
Testing
The site should be tested against WCAG 2.2 AA before launch and after material design changes. Automated testing should be combined with keyboard, screen-reader and target-audience testing.
